In addition to classical laboratory services, the food testing department of fzmb GmbH supports numerous medium-sized and larger food companies by providing innovative solutions to problems that arise in improving food safety and operational hygiene. A major role is played by the development of fast, precise analytics for use in the plant or laboratory.

At the Bad Langensalza site, we are looking for a research assistant to strengthen our team withimmediate effect .

Your tasks

  • independent processing of scientific projects and industry-related research services
  • Writing of scientific reports and publications

Your profile

  • Completed (technical) university studies in the natural sciences (e.g. molecular biology, biochemistry or comparable field of study)
  • practical experience or knowledge in common microbiological, immunological (ELISA) and molecular biological methods (PCR)
  • initial experience in the processing of research projects is an advantage
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word) and statistical analysis

Your qualification

  • You are enrolled in a natural science course of study in the field of biology/human biology/molecular medicine or biochemistry/biotechnology/pharmaceutical biotechnology.
  • You have good knowledge with first practical experience in common laboratory methods
    • biochemical (SDS-PAGE, Western blot), immunological (ELISA, immunofluorescence), microbiological and cell culture methods (sterile work) as well as molecular biological methods (primer design, cloning).
  • You are proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
